White Metal Bearing Scraping
This rig is designed to give trainees the opportunity to scrape a pair of heavy walled white metal bearings out to fit a suitable shaft. It comes complete with:
- 8 x Special White Metal Bearing Shells (Ø108)
- 4 x Modified Bearing Housings
- 3 x 24"Long Hollow Shafts (Ø108) plus two other sizes to allow re-scraping of shells
The shafts will be driven by a manual crank handle to allow the trainee to safely turn the shafts in the bearings.
The assembly will be mounted on an aluminium 5 bar plate work surface.
Fitted onto a Beta Maxi Tank Trolley Mobile Workbench which is 800 MM wide. (Shown in photo on a Super Tank).
